Each new painting is an adventure.  An exciting journey that tests my skill and pushes my limits, for the destination is not a place, it's a feeling.

The feeling I seek is connected to energy and balance, colour and harmony. The process and style permitting intention and spontaneity to coexist, where each layer and mark is considered by direction of flow and intuition. With brush and palette knife, each stroke is bold and deliberate, controlled by its connection to what is needed or its place by what's gone before.
